Minutes of the 65th AGM of Suttonians Hockey Club held in Sutton Park School on 19th

September 2022 at 8pm.

The meeting was opened at 8.05pm by Lisa Coulter who welcomed everyone to the AGM.

The first order of business:

Lisa Coulter read the minutes of the 64th AGM and there were no amendments, so they were

proposed by Barbara Reamsbottom and seconded by Aoife Markey.

Honorary Secretary’s Report 2021/22

The Honorary Secretary’s Report was read by Helen Markey. It was proposed by Doreen Howe,

seconded by Ciara Walsh and adopted by all.

Honorary Treasurer’s Report

Our Honorary Treasurer Doreen Howe presented the annual accounts. Doreen thanked everyone

for their help over the year and in particular Paul O’Dea for the preparation of the Club’s

Accounts. The Club introduced Clubzap for the collection of fees and purchases of clothing and

Doreen wanted to thank Barbara Reamsbottom and Lisa Coulter for their assistance using this

new app. The summer camp raised over €3,000 in August 2022 which added to the club’s

finances and Doreen wanted to thank Helen Markey for her work on organising the camp.

Doreen asked if anyone present had any questions about the accounts and none were raised.

The Honorary Treasurer’s report was proposed by Lorrraine Wormald and seconded by Carla

Kaveh and adopted.

Elections

LC read through the list of nominations that were received in advance of the AGM.

She explained that it was the Committee’s intention that the vacant positions would be filled for

the coming season.

There were no objections, and all were elected.

Paul O’Dea was proposed as The Honorary Auditor, by Doreen Howe, seconded by Lisa Coulter

and passed by all. Lisa Coulter thanked Paul for his continued support with the accounts of the

Club.

Subscriptions

LC explained that subscriptions would remain unchanged for the next season.

There were no objections.

AOB

Hockey Ireland have introduced a new registration system for all players called Gameday. The

registration fee will be €10 per player. All players must register with Gameday.

Lisa Coulter thanked everyone for attending the meeting. She thanked the Committee and all

who help for their work this year.

The meeting closed at 8.25pm.
